BayREN is working with select Bay Area Community Choice Aggregators to offer customers a reduced cost to transition from a gas or propane water heater to a high efficiency heat pump water heater. Heat Pump Water Heaters provide high-efficiency water heating powered by electricity, which in the San Francisco Bay Area is now cleaner than natural gas in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
